Hi! My name is Bob and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I found my way to the shelter as a stray, so staff doesn't know too much about my previous life. If you ask adoption staff about me, they will tell you that I am a shelter superstar! I am a sweet, affectionate gentleman that loves nothing more than gnawing on the toughest toys. Once I warm up to you, I love snuggles! I am the sweetest, kindest boy that has the cutest face. I also love peanut butter kongs! My ideal home would be understanding of my behaviors and willing to give me time to decompress and bond with new friends. I enjoy meeting new humans, but I can get a little nervous around select people. I am very bonded with staff at the shelter, which took me a while. Staff suspects that will be the same in a new home.I am not a huge fan of other dogs, and have never met cats. However, staff has recently introduced me to a calmer, old dog and after a few minutes I was able to walk with her and even give her greeting sniffs. It is definitely possible I could get along with a calmer dog with some training! I do have a high prey drive, so staff believes I would do best in a home with no feline friends. I know how to sit, layout, and stay, so a home that increases my training would help me be the best guy I can be. Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve.BOB'S ADOPTION FEE: $200 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Bob and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet!
